Things are impacting our schools so much right now! It is unbelievable thinking about how much technology has changed our school system. Classrooms are using so much technology to incorporate into their lessons and it is wonderful. NCLB is so disappointing. Music and PE seem to not be important at all. I think that as a teacher and being involved in things like this that you have to do as much as you can to help students. You have to do everything you can to keep them up to speed on technology and try and incorporate as much technology as possible.

I like the layout of my website and I like some of the things that I have on there.
What I don’t like is that it is sooo hard to use. I will never use gmail again. It was very hard to put things where I wanted them and then when I added things I had to redo everything.

I also really liked Bret’s website. It is very professional looking. I liked how he had links to his family and things he likes to do in the middle of his page. It is very well organized.

My favorite podcast presenter was David Warlick. He was always putting up new podcasts and they were always interesting. Each podcast usually had live people in them and they were giving their advice and relfections. I felt like this really helped to understand more about programs that he was discussing. He was very informative and gave easy directions to follow.

I plan to use the newsletter website in the future because I feel like teachers and parents don’t communicate as well as they should and by making a newsletter for parents it will hopefully get parents more involved in their child’s education. I also plan to continue to listen to podcasts. I think that they have great information and they give you ideas that you can use anyday and it would be so easy to incorporate them into your daily lessons.
